Frequently Asked Questions
Q1 What is JASS?
JASS (Japan Adult Search Site) is a costar search database for Japanese adult videos. You can specify an actress and an actor at the same time and find the titles they appear in together.
Other services only let you search by a single name; JASS is built around the pairing itself.
Q2 How do I search?
Use the search form on the top page.
- Enter an actress name - optional
- Enter an actor name - optional
- Press Search - the matching titles are listed
Note: Suggestions appear as you type, so you can search even without the exact spelling.
Q3 Where does the data come from?
JASS collects data from publicly available Japanese adult video information sites. Titles, cast, release dates, labels and genres are refreshed regularly so the catalogue stays current.
Note: We aim for accuracy, but some entries may lag behind the source sites.
Q4 Can I watch the videos here?
No. JASS is a search service and does not host or stream any video. Once you find a title, watch it on an official platform such as FANZA or MGS.
Q5 How does thumbnail preview playback work?
You can preview a title from the thumbnails on listing and detail pages. The interaction differs between desktop and mobile.
On desktop
- Hover - move the pointer over a thumbnail to reveal the preview
- Click play - press the play button inside the preview to start the clip
- Open details - press the product details button to open the title page
On mobile
- First tap - tap the thumbnail to reveal the preview
- Second tap - tap the play button inside the preview to start the clip
- Open details - tap the product details button to open the title page
Warning: Preview playback has sound. Check your surroundings before playing.
